ResponsibilitiesThe Infusion Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care, including patient education and the management of chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy administration.
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patient undergoing infusion treatment; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; and teaches patients, families, orients colleagues and peers.
The RN administers injections, IV hydration, blood products, and chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy.
Expectations- Demonstrated ability to start IVs, access ports and maintain vascular access
- Demonstrated ability to practice independently, set goals, promote teamwork, coordinate and perform multiple activities and problem solve as measured by interview, references, and performance evaluations
- Demonstrated ability to set and implement priorities, organize and delegate effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with others (including peers)
- Demonstrate abilities in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skill within all levels of the health care team
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice in the State of Michigan
- Two (2) years or more of RN experience
- Two (2) or more years of recent (within the last three (3) years) RN experience administering chemotherapy, biotherapy and Immunotherapy
- Two (2) or more years of recent (within the last three (3) years) hematology/oncology RN experience
- NOTE:

- Recent Ambulatory Care Experience
- Demonstrated ability to start IVs
- Certification by Oncology Certified Nurse- (OCN), Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI)
- Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
- Computer/typing skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81/ hourEvening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour
