- Teaching Opportunities:
Yes – Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (ACNP, ONCC, ACAGNP credentials only) ONCC and/or ACNP preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
- Please confirm relevant clinical experience required No specific requirements.
- Physicians shall be board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) Yes, ACLS/BLS required
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
- In-basket management
- Covering Provider in-boxes who are out of office
- Provide coverage for Infusion Center
