Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $28.90 - $41.00/hour (based on experience) + Benefits
Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 - $12,000

Available Units & Shifts

Youth Behavioral Health

• Full-Time Nights (32 or 36 hours/week)
• Full-Time Evenings (32 hours/week)

Adult Behavioral Health

• Full-Time Days (36 hours/week)
• Full-Time Evenings (32 hours/week)
• Full-Time Nights (36 hours/week)

Older Adult Behavioral Health

• Full-Time Evenings (32 hours/week)
• Full-Time Nights (32 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient safety and behavioral health needs
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans
• Document care accurately in accordance with standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric nursing care

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License (or eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN)
• New Graduates Welcome to Apply
• Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, Emergency Department, or Inpatient Nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
