Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience – University of Michigan

Open Positions 1. Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Focus on synaptic and circuit‑level mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorder. Utilize advanced techniques such as in‑vivo imaging, patch‑clamp electrophysiology, and live‑cell imaging.

2. Alzheimer’s Disease

Investigate neuron‑glia interactions and synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer’s models. Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant writing, and mentorship of junior researchers.

Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Ph.D. in neuroscience, neurophysiology, or a related field
    • Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals
    • Ability to design and execute independent research
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with in‑vivo imaging/recording, patch‑clamp, or live‑cell imaging
    • Prior research experience in Alzheimer’s Disease
