Michigan Medicine offers a 12-week graduate nurse internship on the 12 East pediatric unit, with orientation and precepted bedside experience. A 2-year commitment with 30 hours per week is required for candidates hired through this internship program, starting October 8, 2026.
Flexibility allows 32–40 hours per week. The internship is on a pediatric acute care unit focusing on GI, pulmonary, surgery and neonatal populations, with a team-oriented environment and family-centered care principles.
