The Paulos Lab in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking a full-time Research Laboratory Specialist to support environmental microbiology research, including wastewater, surface water, soil, and biological samples for ddPCR and sequencing.
The role includes establishing lab infrastructure, developing workflows, creating SOPs, ensuring biosafety, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate researchers as an early member of a new laboratory.
