We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused Key Holder Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, community-driven retail environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service while supporting daily store operations.
As a Key Holder, you’ll play a leadership role on the sales floor—opening and closing the store, assisting customers, and helping maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:- Open and close the store independently, following all procedures
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product guidance
Assist customers with purchases, product selection, and problem-solving
Operate POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
Stock shelves and assist with inventory management
Support the team in daily operations, including seasonal displays and promotions
Help oversee store activity in the absence of management
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable handling responsibility, including opening/closing duties
- Basic knowledge of hardware, lawn & garden, or home improvement products is a plus
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, helpful in-store experience that builds trust and repeat business
- Support daily store operations by ensuring smooth opening/closing procedures, organized merchandising, and accurate transactions
- Drive sales and team performance by staying proactive on the floor, assisting customers effectively, and maintaining a positive, productive environment
