Role Overview
We're seeking a proven sales leader who excels at building relationships and closing complex technical projects. This position focuses on delivering large-scale electrical, instrumentation, and control solutions for process‑driven industries across the Southeast region.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for engineering and integration services
- Navigate extended sales cycles (typically 6-10 months) and manage high‑value deals
- Leverage existing industry contacts with end users, OEMs, EPC firms, and integrators
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure project success
- Engage senior decision‑makers within target industries to drive strategic growth
Qualifications
- Minimum 6-8 years in process industries such as power generation, industrial water, or similar sectors
- Experience in technical or commercial leadership roles within user organizations or major suppliers
- Established network across industry ecosystems (end users, contractors, OEMs, integrators)
- Demonstrated success selling engineering services and large automation projects
- Active involvement in relevant professional associations
- Ability to travel nationally as needed
Preferred Background
- Previous roles with EPCs, OEMs, or large system integrators
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and control‑centric solutions
- Leadership potential for future executive‑level sales roles
