Job Overview
The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on the Company’s vaccines, education, and resources. The VCR is the primary point of contact for a range of customers, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers within their assigned geography. They help providers and systems increase immunization rates, protect patients from vaccine‑preventable diseases, and meet reimbursement and contract adherence goals.
Primary Activities- Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Business Professionals, aligning customer needs with the Company’s vaccine attributes, product labeling, CDC, and professional society recommendations.
- Provide vaccine management with updates on customer needs, patient outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Deliver key insights by staying current with scientific, product, and marketplace information, attending workshops and conferences, and reviewing Company promotional materials.
- Use analytical skills to conduct quarterly business reviews with customers about their vaccine contracts, educating them on maximizing contract performance across the portfolio.
- Assist customers in improving immunization rates through quality‑based programs and tools such as Vaccine IQ.
- Monitor business performance against objectives using Company tools.
- Develop a territory‑level business plan focused on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with Company policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain product knowledge and certification on the entire vaccine portfolio, including the CDC immunization schedule for pediatric and adult vaccines.
- Act as primary contact for key customers, meeting with key personnel to understand their practice structure, business model, influencers, and patients’ needs.
- Identify business opportunities and share information with relevant stakeholders to support identified immunization needs.
- Coordinate with the Company’s customer team—Account Executives, Integrated Delivery System team, solutions support teams—to outline strategies aimed at improving immunization rates.
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree with 0–3 years sales experience, OR high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience (e.g., sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field). - Required Skills:
Demonstrated aptitude for excellence, independent and team work, strong organization and time management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license. - Preferred
Skills:
Convey technical concepts accurately, prior experience in a technical/scientific or healthcare environment, sales or account management experience, experience executing customer engagement plans, marketing/sales operations knowledge, metric analysis skills, vaccine experience. - Travel: 10% (varies based on location within territory).
Salary range: $79,200.00 – $. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
