As a Neuroscience Sales Specialist, you are a strategic, results‑driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborate across functions, and exceed performance expectations while managing territory resources and adhering to compliance policies.

Essential Areas of Responsibility
  • Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts.
  • Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in‑servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient education.
  • Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet unique needs.
  • Analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and manage promotional budget.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and fostering collaboration with internal teams.
  • Openly collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives.
  • Maintain the call average outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers.
  • Apply diverse problem‑solving techniques to improve performance in the geographic assignment.
  • Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve all sales performance goals and complete administrative duties.
Your Skills and Experience

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum one year of full‑time business‑to‑business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Proven record of accomplishments in the specified market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and open communication.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Capable of engaging with HCPs in both face‑to‑face and virtual settings.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred.
  • New product launch experience preferred.
  • Broad therapeutic area experience, especially within the preferred therapeutic area.
  • Must successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Experience levels for the position:

  • Sales Specialist:
    Minimum 1 year.
  • Executive Sales Specialist:
    Minimum 7 years.
Travel Requirements

Regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight trips.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is $88,000 – $160,000. The specific pay within this range is based on geography, experience, and qualifications.
