• Routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, microbiological cultures, sample processing, data collection/analysis
• Routine laboratory management, including ordering, inventory, routine equipment maintenance, training of new lab members
• Other duties as needed

• A bachelor's degree and at least 1-2 years laboratory experience.
• Basic knowledge of record keeping, organization of research samples, basic biological laboratory techniques, and basic statistics.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Experience working with methodologies involved in dental caries research (fluoride analyses, mineral loss assessment)

This position is located at the School of Dentistry at 1011 N University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI

This is a 1-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal following the initial year. The is a 80% FTE position and the pro-rated posting range is $30,400-$35,600.
