WhatYou Will Achieve
This position is for a testing analyst in the Kalamazoo Immunology QC Laboratory working on first shift. The Immunology Lab performs testing for Atgam, Heparin, Thrombin and CSAV.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Works effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, team laboratory environment to analyze in-process materials, APIs, and/or finished product samples in direct support of the Immunology lab.
- Independently performs testing and documents results for qualitative or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard laboratory equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.
- Troubleshoots test methods and analytical equipment.
- Participates in laboratory investigations as required.
- High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of experience.
- Candidates with advanced science degrees and relevant experience may also be considered as follows:
Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related science degree with at least 2 years experience in related field or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related science with 0-1 years of experience in related field. - Well organized, able to work on multiple projects.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills within a diverse team setting.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety and protocols.
- Experience in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity.
- Laboratory and office work requiring walking, standing, and sitting throughout a shift.
- Lifting of items less than 25 kg.
All Laboratory colleagues adhere to safe work practices such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment including lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves. There is no routine travel associated with this position.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $20.07 to $33.45 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
