Supervisory Scientist​/Physical Scientist​/Environmental Engineer

This position is in the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Transportation Sector Impacts and Standards Division, Air Quality Health and Economics Branch. About this organization: OAR This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

You must meet qualification requirements, including any requirements described in the Education section, by the closing date of this announcement. In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time
* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as providing technical advice related to air quality, health, and/or economic impacts of air quality management programs or policies; providing input on the development of air quality, health, and/or economic assessments; and coaching or mentoring others. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time
* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as advising teams, stakeholders and/or senior leadership on the air quality, health, and/or economic impacts of air quality management programs or policies; providing oversight and recommendations on the development of air quality, health, and/or economic assessments; and leading work groups, projects or programs. You will need the following competencies in order to perform the duties of this position successfully:

* You will be evaluated on these critical competencies.
