Cable Technician Supervisor

We are seeking a Cable Technician Supervisor to join our team and play a critical role in the installation of Category 6, 6a and Fiber optics low voltage cabling. The role will not only be involved in cabling but also installation of network and server Cabinets, TVs, wireless access points, UPSes, and speaker systems. The candidate will have experience in managing on‑site teams.

The candidate will also have experience in estimating jobs from an onsite visit or architectural drawings.

The ideal candidate will have the certification to use Areial and scissor lifts as well as ladders.

• Low voltage installation, testing and certification
• Fiber optic mechanical and fusion splicing
• Installation of network/server racks and cabinets
• Installation of cable management systems including cable trays, ladder racks, and J‑hooks.
• Installation of EMT and Rigid conduct.
• Installation of wireless access points and antennas.
• Rack mounting of network equipment, servers and UPSes.
• Supervision of cabling Teams
• Ability to use Microsoft products and Adobe or similar
• Ability to estimate jobs and articulate quotes to sales teams.

• Installation and troubleshooting of cabling
• Working in a variety of environments including office space, manufacturing plants, and warehouses
• Mounting wallboards and network cabinets
• Certifying copper and fiber cables
• Operating lifts
• Good communication skills with customers and sale team members.

• BISCI certification
• Lift certification
• Corning certification

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field installing low voltage and fiber cabling. Two years in leadership position.
