Overview
The TEL Systems AV Technician position is responsible for integrating, installing, rigging, and configuring A/V systems for our professional client base. Must perform exceptional “Customer Service”.
Responsibilities- Must have hands-on experience with all aspects of structured cabling: pulling, terminating, testing, Cat5e/6, video, VGA, HDMI, audio RCA/XLR cable
- A/V rigging experience a plus such as projector, monitor and projection screen installation
- Experience in troubleshooting commercial A/V installations
- Ability to read and manage schematic system flow documentation
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
- Strong personal and Customer Service Skills
- Communication skills, verbal and written
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in basic MS Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
- We prefer industry certifications such as CTS
- Critical thinking and problem solving
