As a Cleaning and Restoration Technician, you are on the front line of the customer experience. You will complete specialty cleaning and restoration support services with professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in your work. This is a hands on role with clear growth opportunities for motivated people who want to build a long term career in the industry.
What You Will Do- Perform carpet and floor cleaning and other specialty cleaning services we offer.
- Support restoration projects as needed, including water damage and mold related work, as you are trained.
- Complete work orders, daily logs, and job documentation accurately.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on site.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies, and keep vehicles organized and job ready.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and basic vehicle checks.
- Learn new tools, technology, and techniques as we expand our services.
- Hold yourself and teammates accountable to quality, safety, and customer service expectations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow processes for equipment selection and job setup.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet, email, and basic software for job documentation.
- One year of floor cleaning or specialty cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Examples include stripping and waxing commercial flooring, tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or similar.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and pride in doing the job right.
- IICRC certifications are highly desired.
- Carpet Cleaning Technician CCT preferred but not required.
- Water Damage Restoration Technician WRT
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician AMRT
- Applied Structural Drying Technician ASD
- Mold Remediation Specialist MRS
- Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician FSRT
Compensation is based on experience and increases as you gain skills and certifications. This role also offers opportunities for commission and customer tips in addition to hourly pay.
