Field Service Technician

UTEC is looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team.

The Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing various types of equipment.

Service Technician responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, maintaining records of service, scheduling regular maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.

Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who has in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and basic electrical principles.

Ultimately, the role of the Service Technician is to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and to respond quickly to any malfunctions.

• Proven experience as a Service Technician
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and basic electrical principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergencies
• Good physical condition and strength
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge with computers and network technology or relevant field is preferred
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
• Customer service skills for providing a positive experience, understanding the needs of the client, and ensuring customer satisfaction

• Work Environment: This is a field role with frequent travel to various locations for service appointments. Some in-office work may be required for meetings and training.
• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Service Manager.
• Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
• Pay Range: $18-$25 per hr.
