Express Lube Technician

Dealership: L0399 Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time‑clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform work for which the technician is trained; and return special tools to proper location.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning each day.
• Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same cleanliness as provided.
• Complete all required training and acquire/re maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Communicate constructively with other dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare or integrity of the dealership, personnel or customers.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies, including clean gray work shirts and trousers without creases, tucked shirts, and belts with no buckle to avoid scratching paint.
• Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart at times designated by management.

• No previous experience required.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
