Job Overview

Responsible for safely and efficiently completing tasks and duties associated with industrial field labor. Work in compliance with GFL’s core service lines:
Emergency Response, Industrial and Marine Services, Facility Decontamination, and Site Remediation.

Compensation based upon experience.

• Clean and prepare sites, including power washing/hydroblasting, digging, sweeping, entering confined spaces, and removing hazardous waste materials after appropriate training.
• Identify hazards for the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Properly wear, use, and maintain personal respirator equipment and other PPE on HAZWOPER sites.
• Uniforms and all PPE provided.
• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform physical duties including standing, walking, crouching, hand tool use, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the site superintendent or management.

• Previous experience working around heavy equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work outside year-round in all weather conditions.
• Pre‑employment drug and criminal background screening required.
