Field Network Technician

Title: Field Technician I
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Duration: Long Term Contract or hire
Compensation: $30 - $33/W2
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

As a Field Technician I, you will leverage your experience installing and maintaining various telecommunications systems to deliver best‑in‑class service for our clients. You are passionate about building trust, developing your technical skills, and growing within the expanding Internet of Things (IoT) market. You enjoy traveling locally while providing outstanding customer service. This is a home‑based, dispatched role supporting job assignments in a specified geographic area.

It is a contract opportunity with the intent of converting to a permanent employee in a relatively short period of time.

• Install and maintain voice, data, security, and VoIP communication systems and equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to and from customer locations within a designated geographic area to perform installations and repairs.
• Use a laptop and various software applications to manage work orders and documentation.

• 1–5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related electrical field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of technical aptitude.
• Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.

• Home‑based dispatch.
• Weekend and on‑call work may be required as needed.
