2nd shift Journeyworker Electrician

Description Overview

A State of Michigan licensed Electrical Journeyman is preferred. Reporting to the Liquid Value Stream AR Supervisor, this position will perform planned, project and emergency repairs of production and facility equipment. Responsibilities include completing general work orders in SAP, performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and interfacing with other technicians, contractors, and engineers across three shifts in a team environment.

The individual may be required to pre‑assemble equipment for upcoming projects such as building electrical panels. The position will also be responsible for ordering parts and adhering to a timeline for work completion. Travel may be required to other manufacturing and packaging sites within and outside of Allegan.

• Ability to complete an Electrical Apprenticeship through the State of Michigan.
• Preferred:
  Certificate of completion as an Electrical Journeyman, licensed with the State of Michigan.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• History of good attendance.
• High school diploma required.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
• Working from ladders, lifts, heavy lifting, and own transportation are necessary and essential functions.

Individual must be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators possibly for long periods and be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions.
