Maintenance Technician II

Summary

Night Shift - The maintenance mechanic is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting any mechanical issues related to the machinery throughout the facility, and for providing preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment is maintained and documented.

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functioning.
• Inspect machines and equipment for potential issues, and address them proactively.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
• Use various tools and instruments to assess and repair complex systems.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory management.
• Report any unusual occurrences, unsafe conditions, or needed repairs to supervisors or management.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, operators, and engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of tools and machines, assisting with calibration and adjustment to ensure consistent product quality.

• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Assist in the accomplishment of company goals, and help other employees to accomplish company goals.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
• Participate in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
