Summary of Function

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Controls Installer/Programmer to install, program, start up, commission and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC control systems.

Job Duties
  • Install control panels, sensors, actuators and low-voltage wiring
  • Program, commission and start up building automation systems
  • Create graphics and user interfaces for building automation front-end systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and service HVAC control systems
  • Integrate BACnet devices and third-party equipment
  • Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams and mechanical plans
  • Work closely with project managers, customers and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently
  • Complete required documentation related to commissioning, startup and service activities
Qualifications
  • Experience with Carrier IVU, Snap, and View builder is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects and tasks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Professional communication with customers, coworkers and project teams
  • Commitment to quality workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction
