Job Details Description Public Works Technician I
- Solid Waste
Starting Rate: $23.50/Hour
(This rate is non-negotiable and there is a 6-month probationary period). After hire, pay increases are dependent on length of service, advancement in the position, and other contractual factors.

Role SummaryTo safely operate light to heavy equipment for the purpose of maintenance of City streets, solid waste collection and to operate and maintain water, sanitary and stormwater systems.
Training And Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake endorsement
- CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction
