Job Summary

Drives a tractor trailer or box truck, and LLGI buses on assigned routes or special runs. Receives, loads and transports goods. Works in collaboration with Lead Truck Drivers to achieve transportation and logistics objectives.

• Operate tractor trailers and/or straight trucks and 15 passenger buses on assigned routes.
• Conduct and complete a pre-trip checklist.
• Maintain daily trip log including road and vehicle conditions and information.
• Transport trailers to and from designated locations.
• Drive forklift duties and perform related duties.
• Maintain proper truck load distributions, unload and move goods.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation policies, procedures and programs. Remain current on all government regulations, inspections and reporting.
• Travel to locations within as well as outside the LLGI territory.

• Education, Experience, and Credentials:
  Requires high school diploma or equivalent
• Requires one year experience driving and operating a tractor trailer and straight trucks. Must be 21 years old and possess a valid CDL (Class A Preferred).
• Requires certification as a forklift operator or ability to obtain certification within 6 months. Complies with all Federal Motor Carrier regulations as well as federal, state and local driving / transportation regulations.

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $32.27/Hr.
