ADAS Test Driver​/Operator

Job description

• Carry out various driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles across pre-defined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies.
• Monitor and evaluate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) function performance during real-world driving conditions.
• Provide and document user-level feedback on ADAS feature usability, effectiveness, and driver experience.
• Maintain appropriate level of vigilance when ADAS features are active (avoid over-reliance).
• Understand and stay updated on operational constraints.
• Communicate clearly with other Driver or Operator while vehicle is in operation.
• Monitor and manage onboard data collection systems during vehicle operation.
• Verify proper functioning of sensors, cameras, and recording equipment.
• Document test runs, conditions, and any incidents or observations in real-time.
• Upload, organize, and categorize collected data according to established protocols.
• Perform quality checks on collected data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Flag data anomalies or system issues for technical review.
• Perform preparatory activities before shift, including but not limited to inspection of the vehicle before and after shift completion.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Understand limitations of ADAS functions and intervene when necessary.
• Follow instructions provided by project manager.
• Perform reporting activities daily and when required by the program manager.
• Maintain all documentation with utmost confidentiality.
• Support the acquisition of data and implement proper tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies found during data acquisition.

Practical understanding of how to activate, deactivate, and operate common ADAS features

Knowledge of typical ADAS user interfaces, controls, and warning indicators

Computers and data management software

Duration - This project is expected to last 4-5 months with consecutive projects thereafter.

• High School diploma
• 5 years of licensed driving experience
• Must have current Driver's License and a clean driving record for a minimum of 7 years.
• Experience working with ADAS features highly preferred.
• We are a drug free work environment

• Must be physically able to support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work extended hours and weekends.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean vehicle driving record.
• Meet all workplace health and safety requirements and practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds able to drive passenger vehicles up to 8 hours a day.

Monday to Sunday

Morning 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Afternoon 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
