Job Summary
Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. Operators work cooperatively with other associates and must follow the company’s safety policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company or site‑specific safety policies and procedures.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
- Check inbound and outbound products to ensure items and quantities are correct and there is no damage.
- Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
- Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
- Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of one year experience operating a forklift.
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment; the warehouse may be non‑temperature controlled.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Must be able to work overtime and adjust the schedule as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with RF equipment or warehouse management systems such as WMS.
- Experience in a high‑volume or refrigerated (food‑grade) warehouse.
- Forklift certification.
Tuesday – Friday, 4:30PM – 2:30AM.
