Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join an automotive manufacturing company. This role focuses on the updating and commissioning of tooling equipment, ensuring quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Check and test machines to ensure they meet quality standards.

+ Support the disassembly or decommissioning of old machines.

+ Determine required ordered parts for machine maintenance and upgrades.

+ Assist the manufacturing team with additional projects as needed.

+ Complete any other tasks assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

+

Experience with mechanical equipment.

+ Proficiency in CMM (Calypso - Zeiss).

+ Understanding and ability to read prints/drawings.

+ Good knowledge and understanding of basic hand tools.

+ Basic problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work well with little supervision.

+ Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Basic inspection skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft products.

Work Environment

The position offers a short-term opportunity with potential for extension based on performance. The work environment is dynamic, requiring flexibility and adaptability to various tasks and projects. Daily overtime, including weekends, may be required to meet production demands. Dress code adheres to safety standards typical of automotive manufacturing facilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Anna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
