Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support scrap and material movement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with prior forklift experience who are committed to maintaining safety standards and ensuring efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely to transport, load, unload, and stage scrap materials
 Move materials to designated scrap, recycling, or disposal areas
 Inspect materials for damage or irregularities and report issues promptly
 Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
 Maintain accurate logs of material movement and inventory
 Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
 Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
 Support production and assist with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous forklift operating experience required
 Experience in manufacturing, scrap, or recycling environments preferred
 Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
 Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
 Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
