Primary Purpose

The Warehouse Person unloads inbound packages and bulk inventory, stores products in the warehouse, and supports picking, staging, and labeling operations while ensuring safety and compliance.

• Perform pre‑use inspections of equipment and provide required reports; monitor hours of service accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick‑up operations; assist customers with questions or problems and ensure delivered goods match the bill of lading.
• Maintain required D.O.T, OSHA, and company safety certifications.
• Maintain and protect all company property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• During loading and unloading of trucks, check shipment weights and monitor distribution weight to legal road limits; check material for damage and quantity discrepancies and engage appropriate team members if any discrepancies exist.
• Pick up empty or partially empty drums and totes; review paperwork to ensure authorized and compliant transport.
• Operate forklift to pick, store, and stage material.
• Bulk‑off load material from bulk tank trucks or rail cars.
• Operate drum line and drum material to meet Univar Solutions and customer specifications; ensure proper labeling of material.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations (e.g., warehouse clean‑up).
• Attend and participate in training meetings.
• Perform duties consistently with Univar Solutions business responsibilities.

• Frequent lifting, pulling, or pushing of up to 50 lbs; occasional handling of fully stacked pallets on a pallet jack.
