Overview

The Anna Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Recruit Police Officer. For more information, email our team at pdadmin.

• Patrol city neighborhoods, enforce local and state laws, respond to calls for service, conduct investigations, and make arrests when necessary.
• Assist with traffic enforcement, respond to motor vehicle accidents, and complete detailed reports.
• Build positive relationships with residents and promote a sense of trust and partnership within the community.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by the successful completion of required Police training programs.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a drug screen, criminal background check, MVR check and any other verification required by the Anna Police Department.

• Must possess a current and valid Driver's License
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid TCOLE license
