This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist will be responsible for delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities. The role also includes educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and self on relevant treatment modalities and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to develop effective treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and clear documentation in medical records.
  • Provide care under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
  • Participate in student programs, offering supervision and development of learning objectives.
  • Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan.
  • Maintain professional licensure in good standing and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
