DESCRIPTIONUnder regular supervision, the Parks Maintenance Worker II is responsible for aiding routine maintenance, repair, and construction of facilities and landscaping for assigned areas. This is the advanced-level classification in the Park Maintenance Worker series. The incumbent follows routine procedures and guidelines in the application of prescribed duties and works under regular supervision. The Parks Maintenance Worker II may act as lead person in the absence of the Parks Maintenance Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS- High school or GED, plus 2 years previous experience in parks maintenance, landscaping, or construction is required.
- Basic:
Word Processing/Typing is required. Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified. - Must be a certified Pool Operator.
- Must possess a valid Class "C" license when hired.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and MVR check.
