Texoma Medical Center is a 414‑bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The facility offers major specialty services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, and provides certified trauma care as a regional specialty center.
The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing also provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, and embraces patient‑centered care as a foundation for all nursing practice.

QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN)
Job Requirements:
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- Two years full time ER RN experience required.
- RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above.
- TNCC required within 1 year of hire.
- Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
