Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Two to three days per week with flexible scheduling; no nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital
  • Maintain complete and accurate client and patient information
  • Process payments and explain invoices when appropriate
  • Communicate appointment information, hospital policies, and veterinarian-approved instructions
  • Coordinate with veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to support an efficient appointment flow
  • Provide updates to clients and help manage expectations during busy periods
  • Assist with reminders, follow-up communication, and administrative tasks
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception and lobby area
  • Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Help create a positive experience for every client and patient
  • Support teammates and contribute to smooth daily hospital operations

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
