Shop Service Technician - Heavy Equipment

Holt CAT in Anna, Texas is looking for a experienced Heavy Equipment-Shop Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. Must have 3 years experience on heavy construction equipment.

The hours of the position are Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM. Our address is 451

E. Outer Loop Road, Anna, Texas 75409.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

* Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs.

* At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.

* Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure.

* Ability to troubleshoot Tier 4 Final Emissions Systems

* Ability to troubleshoot Exhaust Gas Recirculation Systems

* Able to document all work orders properly

* Diesel Tech Schooling is highly desired.

* Must have a steady employment history.

* Must have a valid driver's license.

* Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.

* Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds, approximately 5 times a day.

* Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.

* Excellent attendance is required.

* Must be able to work Monday-Friday
-7 AM - 4 PM.

* Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.

* Ability to work with limited supervision.

* Must have own tools.
