Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 per year (step pay scale based on degree level and years of teaching experience)
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will teach approximately 25‑30 hours a week for grades 3‑8 and will support the school's technology implementation by helping teachers, staff, administrators and students use technology more effectively.
Compensation is based on a step pay scale that ranges from $50,000 for a bachelor’s with less than 1 year experience to $70,000 for a master’s with 10 years experience, with prorated pay for positions scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, a 403(b) retirement plan, paid leave, tuition assistance for children attending Holy Spirit, and professional development opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work with administration to develop ways and strategies to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum.
- Establish and enforce information technology standards, procedures, and policies.
- Teach diocesan technology standards in grades 3‑8 classrooms.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
- Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and related technologies, including Google Chromebooks and iPads.
- Experience with educational administrative systems such as Google for Education Apps, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of coding, 3‑D printing, robotics and STEM.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
