Job Summary:

Envestnet's Financial Systems organization is building a best-in-class finance operations team. As Director of Revenue & Billing Operations, you will own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle - from five distinct billing platforms through Oracle Fusion Cloud GL consolidation. This is a new, strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Financial Systems. You will lead a team of three, drive billing platform consolidation strategy, and be the single accountable leader for revenue GL accuracy, timeliness, and automation across a complex multi-entity, multi-product SaaS business.

Your Team:

You will build and lead a team of three, with support from the Integration & Workato Platform team for cross-system data flows:

* Billing Systems Analyst (India) - owns 4-5 platform API integration strategy and execution.

* Revenue Systems Manager (US) - SaaS revenue accounting, revenue accruals, AR analysis.

* Billing Systems Coordinator (US) - billing operations support and coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

* Own the strategy and execution for consolidating 5+ billing platforms into Oracle Fusion Cloud AR

* Drive revenue AR SLA  GL accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across all product lines

* Lead SaaS and subscription revenue recognition processes for a complex multi-entity product mix

* Design and execute billing-to-GL automation roadmap, eliminating manual reconciliations

* Manage vendor relationships and contracts for billing platforms

* Establish and enforce revenue SLAs and reporting deadlines

* Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Product on revenue forecasting and analysis

* Build and manage a high-performing team including US-based managers and an offshore billing systems analyst in India

* Define data quality standards for billing-to-GL data flows and measure compliance

What You'll Build

Year 1:

* Automate 5+ billing platform integrations to Oracle GL

* Achieve 99%+ billing-to-GL accuracy

* Reduce billing-to-GL cycle time to under 2 days

* Establish revenue SLAs and reporting cadence

Year 2+:

* Deliver real-time revenue GL updates from all billing platforms

* Achieve 99.9%+ accuracy with less than $5K in manual monthly exceptions

* Automated billing reconciliations across all platforms

* Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.

* As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience in billing operations, revenue accounting, or revenue systems.

* Proven track record of billing platform consolidation across multiple systems.

* Deep knowledge of SaaS/subscription revenue recognition (ASC 606).

* Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or comparable enterprise ERP.

* Experience managing cross-functional teams including offshore resources.

* Strong understanding of billing system APIs, data mapping, and integration patterns.

* Excellent stakeholder management - proactive communicator who partners with Finance leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in financial services or wealth management industry.

* Familiarity with Salesforce Billing, Net Suite, Zuora, or similar billing platforms.
