Medical Receptionist - Insurance Verification Representative

Annandale, VA
Pay: $21 per hour

• 3+ years experience in a busy medical office
• Experience verifying insurance coverage and reviewing with patients
• Must have a great attitude and be reliable
• EMR experience is a must
• Must possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office
• Filing and managing medical records
• Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support
• Properly handling incoming calls; take complete messages with accurate information using message intake form
• Scheduling patient appointments by adhering to scheduling guidelines
• Verifying appointments, print schedules, update patient information as necessary
• Review schedules for cancellations/no-show appointments
