Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Outpatient -Vascular Surgery

Inova Vascular Surgery is looking for an experienced LPN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be full-time, Monday
- Friday, day shift hours
-8am-5pm. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Job location: 8081 Innovation Park Dr., Suite 800 Fairfax, VA 22031. Travel to other clinics may be required on a needed basis.

Schedule: M-F: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Provides basic therapeutic nursing care according to established standards of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Provides care to patients whose care requirements are routine/standardized and with predictable outcomes. Assists the healthcare team in achieving desired patient outcomes. Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Certification: Basic Life Support upon start
• Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse or eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse upon start
• Experience: None Required
• Education: Vocational/Technical Nursing

• At least 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant or LPN in Ambulatory Clinical setting
