Position Overview The Accountant and Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping activities. This individual will also provide limited support related to HR administration and employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Generate and manage customer invoices
* Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
* Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections activities
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes
* Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking
* Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
* Provide limited support with employee benefits administration and HR-related tasks
* Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers### Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
* Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
* Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
* Proficiency with Quick Books required
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
