Accounting Manager
Location:
Annapolis, MD
Hybrid: 3 days in office
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + bonus

- Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial close (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Review and approve financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee investor and lender reporting, ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Manage audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
- Provide cash management oversight across multiple accounts and entities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
- Will supervise 1‑2 accountants
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3‑5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Multifamily / real estate / property accounting experience
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred, with a focus on mentoring, developing, and guiding accounting staff
