At Communications Construction Group, LLC, the Safety Administrative Assistant supports the Safety Department in maintaining compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, etc.). This role is responsible for organizing safety documentation, assisting with training coordination, tracking incidents and certifications, and providing administrative support to field and office personnel in a fast‑paced telecom construction environment.
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.

- Maintain and organize safety records, including training logs, certifications, incident reports, and audit documentation.
- Track employee safety training, DOT cards, CPR/First Aid, tower climbing certifications, and other required credentials.
- Support compliance with OSHA, DOT, and client safety requirements.
- Assist in collecting, reviewing, and filing incident, near‑miss, and vehicle accident reports.
- Help prepare reports and documentation for internal review and client submission.
- Track corrective actions and follow up with field supervisors as needed.
- Data entry, filing (digital and physical), scanning, and document control.
- Serve as a point of contact for safety documentation requests from field crews, project managers, and clients.
- Assist with safety audits, inspections, and site compliance documentation.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating safety orientations and required training sessions.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations related to safety metrics.
- Support the Safety Director with special projects and administrative tasks.
- 1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction, utilities, or telecommunications.
- Strong communication and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working with field personnel and management.
- Detail‑oriented with strong record‑keeping abilities.
- Team‑oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Chrome.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Office‑based with regular interaction with field crews.
- Occasional travel to job sites or training locations may be required.
- Routinely:
Complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10–25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations. - Occasionally:
Climb stairs, lift 26–55 pounds, operate vehicles.
