JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of tasks related to receiving, distributing and inventorying textbooks purchased by the Curriculum Aligned Materials Office.
Additional Work Days/Hours
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Open and unpack shipments of textbooks.
- Review purchase orders, packing slips, and shipments to determine that the order is correct and complete.
- Document order receipts and inform the campus' textbook manager regarding the status of each purchase order.
- If necessary, place barcodes on each student textbook with barcodes provided.
- Organize books and/or move them to various classrooms, bookrooms, or departments as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.

- Ability to read purchase orders and determine if the correct books and quantities are received.
- Able to perform clerical tasks related to managing receipt of textbooks and checking that all orders are complete.
- Ability to organize materials for distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite
-Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred).
