Position OverviewOur client is seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Administrative Associate to join their team in Annapolis, MD. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees while providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations
- Assist with data entry, filing, document preparation, and record maintenance
- Order and monitor office supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Support various administrative projects and tasks as assigned
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient office operations
- Handle general inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or office support role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Familiarity with office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, copiers, and scanners
- Opportunity to gain experience in a professional office setting
