About the Position of Automotive Mechanic
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They conduct undercar repairs—including brakes, struts, and shocks—and perform state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Have an extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
- Preferred:
State inspection license(s). - Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair, and regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
