The purpose of this consultancy is to provide targeted organizational development support that enables leaders and teams to:
- Strengthen leadership effectiveness during a period of transition and new team formation.
- Clarify team purpose, roles, decision-making, and short-term priorities.
- Establish shared norms and practices for collaboration, communication, and accountability.
- Build momentum and coherence across teams and the broader division.
This engagement is intended to be practical, adaptive, and responsive to evolving needs over the term of the retainer.
Scope of Work and Phasing ApproachThe selected consultant will provide up to 30 hours per month of organizational development services, which may include a blend of the following activities, adjusted throughout the consultancy in coordination with CRS.
Core Scope Areas:Leadership Coaching and Consulting
- One-on-one coaching or consulting with senior leaders and managers to support:
- Role clarity
- Decision-making and influence
- Effective new team formation
- Design and facilitation of structured working sessions with managers and teams to identify or clarify:
- Team purpose and mandate
- Roles and responsibilities
- Near-term goals and operating plans
- Interdependencies and handoffs
- Individual and collective work and communication styles
- Facilitation of sessions for:
- DiSC trainings and team orientations
- Individual teams
- Cross-functional groups
- Full division or leadership cohorts, as needed
- Sessions may be in-person or virtual, depending on CRS needs and logistics.
The consultant is expected to adapt session design and emphasis based on ongoing learning, feedback, and emerging needs over the course of the engagement.
