JOB SUMMARYProvides confidential administrative and technical support to the Senior Advisor in all matters concerning EEO/ADA/Title IX. Assists with discrimination investigations, preparing routine resolution letters and assembling investigative reports. Manages office schedule and coordinates office activities including meetings, interview appointments, training sessions, and workflow of time sensitive complaints, requests, and internal/external communications. Organizes and maintains relevant procedural manuals, control book, master internal and external investigative files, records, and databases in accordance with AACPS protocols and legal mandates.
Manages Reasonable Accommodation process by maintaining confidential medical files in relation to documentation from employees and medical providers, conducts interactive meetings, performs research and analysis of requests evaluating individual medical conditions under the scope of EEO/ADA while addressing complex issues with various offices ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, regulations, operating procedures, and negotiated agreements. Facilitates the workflow of the systemwide Title IX Reporting System, routinely drafting Title IX correspondence under the direction of the Title IX Coordinator and communicating directly with school administration, investigators, students, and parent/guardians, in compliance with specified timelines determined by the Title IX Final Rule.
Manages Equal Employment Opportunity - Non-Discrimination (EEO), Reasonable Accommodations (ADA), and Title IX public websites. Responds to internal and external inquires and correspondence relative to EEO/ADA/Title IX. Regularly interfaces with various departments within AACPS involving input from and coordination with external agencies and public.

- Serves as a confidential assistant to the Senior Advisor. Acts as division coordinator by fielding incoming EEO/ADA/Title IX complaints, requests, informational reports, and manages EEO/ADA/Title IX/ intranet and websites.
- Answers specific factual questions from employees concerning the EEO complaint process, ADA reasonable accommodation process., and Title IX Reporting.
- Manages written and electronic records of all incoming information pertaining to internal and external EEO/ADA/Title IX complaints, investigations, and resolutions. Monitors the progress of the cases, provides research on relevant issues, and responds to additional information obtained during the complaint process.
- Conducts intake interviews for EEO/ADA discrimination complaints and interactive meetings for ADA requests for reasonable accommodations. Reviews investigative case documents and accommodation request documents for accuracy and completeness. Communicates with physicians' offices to obtain information, as necessary.
- Evaluates reasonable accommodations requests and makes complex decisions through research and analysis under the provisions of the ADA and in conjunction with AACPS policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains EEO/ADA/Title IX compliance correspondences, case files, resolution letters and control book.
- Assists with investigations by reviewing files, preparing tables, graphs, charts, summary sheets, and/or other formats to summarize findings, compiling statistical data, and compiling exhibits for investigative reports.
- Enters EEO/ADA complaints, ADA reasonable accommodations, and Title IX Reporting data into databases and generates reports as needed.
- Assists in the development and preparation of in‑service training sessions and professional developments.
- Researches and provides data information reports for use by the Board, Superintendent, AACPS management, administrative hearing officers, and outside agencies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.
