Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring the successful execution of orders from purchase through delivery. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Logistics, Traffic, Operations, and Accounting to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate order management and timely communication throughout the transaction lifecycle

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure exceptional service and successful order execution.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide effective solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Keep customers informed of order status, shipment updates, delivery schedules, and any changes affecting their orders.
  • Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process customer orders accurately within the Cie-Trade ERP system.
  • Verify order details, pricing, inventory availability, and shipping requirements.
  • Manage customer orders from order entry through invoicing and final completion.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all transaction documentation is complete, accurate, and processed according to company procedures.
  • Coordinate shipments with the Logistics and Traffic teams, managing appointments, delivery schedules, reschedules, carrier issues, and ensuring each transaction is completed successfully.
  • Monitor shipments from purchase through delivery and proactively address transportation or scheduling issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouses, logistics staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to maintain smooth workflow and accurate information throughout each transaction.
  • Prioritize multiple customer requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to departmental efficiencies.
  • Support team members and assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, account management, logistics coordination, sales support, or a related role.
  • Experience working within an ERP system;
    Cie-Trade experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Gmail.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional, dependable, ethical, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay

$50,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience, plus annual performance incentive

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8-5.
