Full Time (No Nights or Weekends) Annapolis, MD – Excellent Compensation and Benefits Package

Healthcare is changing and Luminis Health is growing! We are currently seeking a PA in Bariatric Surgery in our Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Become that beacon of light and hope to our patients.

In this role, you will provide supervised medical services for patients with emphasis on outpatient setting with inpatient rounding. All duties are in collaboration with contracted physician, services are provided under the rules regulations, and policies established by the approved job description of the State of Maryland, BPQA, HCFA, AMA, and AAMC.

• Providing education and counsel appropriate to the medical needs of the patient
• Maintaining current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law
• Communicating treatment/therapy progress with individuals who have the responsibility or control in patient care intervention
• Referring patients to appropriate licensed physician or other health care provider as condition or circumstances warrant

• Bachelor’s degree
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• 2+ years’ experience as a PA in a bariatric setting
• Outpatient w/ inpatient rounding/hospital OR skills a plus
